The Guild of Working Designers is a community built on trust, creativity, and shared growth. To ensure we maintain a supportive and inclusive space, all members are expected to follow these guidelines:
We are committed to creating a respectful environment where all voices are heard. Treat others with kindness, even when opinions differ. Discussions should foster constructive dialogue and mutual learning.
Honesty and transparency are crucial to building trust within the community. When sharing resources, advice, or feedback, ensure that you provide value to others. If you make a mistake, own it and work towards resolution.
We prioritize continuous learning and growth. Please share your experiences and insights to help others learn, but also be open to learning from them. Whether you are an observer or a co-creator, your role is valuable to the community’s shared progress.
This is a place where members should feel comfortable asking questions, sharing struggles, and discussing challenges. No question is too small, and everyone is encouraged to participate without fear of judgment.
The Guild is a space for genuine connection and learning, not self-promotion. While sharing things you’re excited about is okay, please do not use the community to drop unsolicited promotions, advertisements, or unrelated content.
We understand that everyone comes from different backgrounds and experiences. Approach all interactions with empathy and strive to include diverse perspectives. Respect boundaries, and always consider the needs and feelings of others in the community.
Your contributions, whether through discussions, feedback, or shared resources, should aim to advance the community. Take the initiative to participate, offer support, and collaborate on projects while being mindful of others’ time and efforts.
If you see behavior violating this code of conduct or making you uncomfortable, please report it to Hannah at [email protected].
The core team is available to assist, but Hannah will handle any issues directly to ensure prompt and fair action.
